Our three large format Canon printers are built for quality imaging with a 12 colour pigment ink system. With these printers we have the ability to produce extremely high quality colour intensive prints that are suitable for a wide range of applications; from draft prints to final architectural presentations through to photographic.
Our paper stock includes:
160gsm Matte and 200gsm Semi-gloss at widths; 609mm, 914mm and 1067mm. Perfect for presentation banners and photographic prints. We also stock 80gsm plain paper; 594mm and 841mm. This is ideal for bulk plan drawing documents and draft prints.
We also specialise in large format bypass printing, giving you the ability to print on your own custom paper stocks up to 1.1m. Whether your looking to print singular standard sized sheets or banners up to 1.1m wide on your own custom paper, we have got it covered.

Printing disclaimer
For optimal results especially for large banners, we recommend you run a test before finalising your print files. We won't be liable for any differences between screen and print unless we acknowledge an error on our end. Students must prep their files, ensuring readability, colour accuracy, and image brightness. Testing on laser jet printers doesn't equate to ink jet printing due to technical variations in colour rendering.
Students must provide a valid student ID to receive the student price. Students may not request the student rate on behalf of a non student or commercial entity where the nonstudent / commercial entity is providing funding for the job.

How do I set up a file to print?
Please see our printing file set up guide for full instructions on how to set up your file.
What type of paper can you print on?
Paper stock in-store; 80GSM copy / draft paper, 160GSM Matte, 200GSM Semi gloss.
We stock both Matte and Semi Gloss paper in the following widths rolls; 609mm, 914mm, 1067mm, 1270mm, 1524mm.

BYO paper / Bypass paper;
A2 size standard sheets to custom paper rolls up to 1.1m wide.
You are not limited to print on what we stock in-store; we welcome BYO paper printing / bypass as we have the ability to bypass large format from singular standard sized sheets to paper rolls up to 1.1m wide by any length. BYO / Custom paper stock may include but not limited to; watercolour paper, fine-art paper, textured paper, heavy GSM papers, drafting papers (transparent), canvas, off white paper and coloured papers (Please keep in mind that certain coloured papers could potentially alter particular colours in your print where true to colour may be crucial to your personal desired intended impact). If you are unsure of the suitability of a specific paper stock, feel free to contact us regarding this issue.
Please note that bypass rolls will incur a $10 surcharge per roll due to the time consuming process required to install them in the printer. Bypass cut sheets do no incur extra charges.
Do you stock any other paper types besides matte, semi-gloss / satin and copy paper / draft paper?
If you are interested in printing on high gloss paper, adhesive backed paper or any other non bypass type paper, feel free to inquire about it as we can source the paper type suitable for your print project depending on the quantity of prints required.
Do you do bypass printing; large rolls or sheets?
Yes. Read more info about our bypassing under question 'What type of paper can you print on?'. Feel free to give us a call or flick through an email if you have any further questions.
What is your turn around time for printing / large prints?
It varies depending on the quantity which you are wanting to print, a portrait banner roughly 1800mm x 900mm takes approximately 20 minutes to print. Please keep in mind that possible queues and paper loading may also potentially affect the turn around time for printing, we usually inform the turn around time in person after receiving a print file.
Do you do test prints?
Yes, a 20cm-30cm test print is $5.00.
What sort of print files do you accept?
We accept the following file types; Flattened PSD (photoshop file), PDF and JPG. Please flatten your photoshop file before saving / exporting for print.
Why should I test print? Important disclaimer
If you are planning to print with us, especially large banners, we strongly recommend that you do a test print before committing to a full scale print. We will not be held responsible for visual differences between what you see on your screen compared to physical print unless we agree on our part that we were at fault during the print process.
You are responsible for the preparation of your print files prior to print which may involve inspecting / testing / revising aspects such as but not limited to; colour correcting, lightening dark images, checking if text is readable etc (we may at point of printing raise potential issues that may arise, regardless we hold no responsibility if you have not carried out relevant precautions).
Do you trim prints onsite?
Unfortunately we are unable to trim prints on site.
Do you print booklets?
Unfortunately not. Due to the type of printers we have it is unrealistic for us to attempt to print booklets, unless you have the intention of printing singular sheets (e.g. bypass A2 prints) and assembling into a booklet yourself post print.
What type of printers do you have?
We have three large Canon printers on our premise; imagePROGRAF iPF9000, imagePROGRAF iPF8300 and imagePROGRAF IPF650. These printers are built for quality imaging with their 12 (IPF900, IPF 8300) and 5 (IPF650) colour pigment ink systems they can produce extremely high quality colour intensive prints that are suitable for a range of applications including photographic through to architectural presentations.
Do you have Extended Hours And 24 Hour Service?
Extended hours and 24 hour services are only available to students at specific times of the year (during hand-ins / crits / presentations). Please see our footer (at the bottom of the page), Twitter or Facebook page for updates. After hours pricing is applicable Mon - Fri 5pm - 9:30am, Saturday 12pm - 9:30am and Sunday. Normal pricing applies during our usual hours.
Can I make a booking?
We do not take bookings, so just call before you come in or email us to check the turn around time. During our busy times when we have a queue you can reserve your space in the queue by either providing us with your print file(s) in person or through email, or by brining in your own paper if if you are bypass printing (and providing your file later).
